Begins Tuesday after the Thanksgiving Weekend. CLOSED for all Statutory Holidays in the winter.

| Notes: As of January 2026, municipalities will no longer be responsible for managing recyclable materials. Responsibility is shifting to Circular Materials, a national non-profit organization that manages recycling on behalf of packaging and paper producers, under Ontario's Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) model. You will still drop off your materials as usual, but with one improvement - more items will be accepted for recycling. Important Messages & Notices
- Clear Bags are mandatory as of January 2021 (Clear bags can be purchased in many retail outlets and here are just a few options)
- Please DO NOT leave garbage at the landfill site gates!
- Please Note: The Municipality now has security cameras in place at both our landfill sites.
- Please Note: We no longer accept tires, commercial construction & demolition, commercial brush or boats (unless they are metal and stripped of all non-metal parts and liquids) at any of our municipal landfill sites.
