Both the York Street and the Auld’s Road Landfill Sites will have the following hours:
WINTER LANDFILL HOURS
Begins Tuesday after the Thanksgiving Weekend. CLOSED for all Statutory Holidays in the winter.

Begins Saturday of the May Long Weekend. OPEN on Statutory Holidays.

Important Messages & Notices
- Clear Bags are Mandatory as of January 2021 (Clear bags can be purchased in many retail outlets and here are just a few options)
- Please DO NOT leave garbage at the landfill site gates!
- Please Note: The Municipality now has security cameras in place at both our landfill sites.
- Please Note: We no longer accept tires, commercial construction & demolition, commercial brush or boats (unless they are metal and stripped of all non-metal parts and liquids) at any of our municipal landfill sites.
