The Municipality of Whitestone Recreation Committee provides recreation programming to engage the residents of the Municipality. Their goal is to improve the quality of life for Whitestone residents through a range of innovative, inclusive, and accessible programming, providing opportunities for physical activity, social interaction and community engagement.

Programs and Events
The Whitestone Recreation Committee runs many regular programs and special events throughout the year. These include, but are not limited to:
Community Food Pantry: The Recreation Committee maintains the Community Food Pantry located behind the Grange (near the mailboxes in Dunchurch). This food pantry holds nonperishable food items and is free to access. Take what you need, leave what you can.
Family Game Nights: Biweekly on Fridays at 6:00 PM at the Whitestone Public Library. Free to attend, everyone welcome! Choose from a large variety of games or bring your own to share. Snacks provided.
Dungeons and Dragons: Runs Wednesdays and Saturdays at the Whitestone Public Library.
Archery: Runs Saturdays from 10:00 AM to noon in July and August at the Dun Dome. Free to attend, everyone welcome!
Fitness Classes: Run regularly at the Dunchurch Community Centre including Walk Fit, Yoga, Body and Mind Fitness Class.
Craft Markets: Craft markets run twice a year, on the Civic Holiday weekend and leading up to Christmas.
Holiday Celebrations: Includes Breakfast with Santa, Easter Breakfast, Secret Santa Shopping, Family Day, and Canada Day.
