Chief Administrative Officer/Clerk

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) administratively manages the affairs of the Municipality of behalf of Council for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Municipality. 

The Clerk, as outlined by the Municipal Act  2001, c. 25, s. 228, records without note or comment, all resolutions, decisions and proceedings of Council. When a recoded vote is requested, the Clerk also documents the name and vote of every Member voting on the matter. 

In addition, the Clerk is responsible for keeping the original documents of all By-Laws and Minutes of Council proceedings.

Interim Treasurer/Tax Collector

Reporting to the CAO/Clerk, the Treasurer will performs statutory duties in accordance with the Municipal Act  2001, c. 25, s. 228 (1) to ensure continued efficient and effective financial management of the Corporation.

Deputy Clerk

Reporting to the CAO/Clerk, the Deputy Clerk performs the statutory duties of the Clerk in a supporting roll under the direction of the Clerk, in accordance with the Municipal Act  2001, c. 25, s. 228 (2). 

Planning Assistant

Reporting to the CAO/Clerk, the Planning Assistant is responsible for assisting with planning related matters including the review and processing of Planning applications, responding to inquiries from the public, liaising with the Municipality’s planning consultant and managing planning files.
