Poverty Reduction Strategy Plan
The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, along with other ministries across the government, need your feedback to help develop a new five-year Poverty Reduction Strategy for Ontario in accordance with the Poverty Reduction Act, 2009. They are asking Indigenous partners, the public, businesses, organizations, people with experience living in poverty, service providers, employers, and all levels of government to share their feedback and find different ways to support people during challenging times and create a better life.
Our government believes the people of Ontario are the province's greatest assest, and when they succeed, our ecomnomy and our province succeeds. With that being said, one in seven Ontario residents live in poverty. We need to empower our people, support them during challenging times and we can not do this alone. Our government is committed to sharing the responsibility to create conditions for success. We need organizations to share their ideas and feedback about how we can all work together and tackle poverty.
