Hall Grounds Rental

Council Supports Township of McKellar – Long-Term Health Care Funding

That the Council of the Municipality of Whitestone hereby supports the resolution passed by the Township of McKellar requesting additional Health Care funding to offset the ongoing and rising health care services costs for Long Term Care, Land Ambulance/Paramedic services and public health that are being borne by municipalities on the property tax base and that the Province not download any additional or future costs for these health care services;

AND FURTHER that this resolution be forwarded to Kathleen Wynne, Premier of Ontario; Dr. Eric Hoskins, Minister of Health and Long Term Care; Norm Miller, MPP for Parry Sound-Muskoka; the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO); the City of Peterborough; the District of Parry Sound Municipal Association; and the Township of McKellar.  Carried
